The low battery indicator is a small alarm built into the hearing aid. When the alarm beeps, the battery should be replaced as soon as possible as it is nearly exhausted, and the hearing aid will soon stop working.
Never let an exhausted battery remain in the hearing aid. Exhausted batteries may leak, which could damage the hearing aid.
